We are excited to be kicking off Fall 2020 together, though we are still online.

Dear Students & Family,

With the spread of COVID-19, we are prayerfully watching its developments and listening to your concerns. Senior leaders for InterVarsity nationally, as well as local staff on the ground, are paying attention to their specific areas of responsibility.  
 
Here are a few things to note:
-In general, our ministry continues. We want to make decisions based on facts, demonstrating both wisdom and faith.
-Our risk assessment protocol and Overseas Crisis Management Team are operating as always, and a group of senior leaders are meeting daily to talk about developments and next steps.
-We are paying attention to and taking cues from the statements & actions of our local campuses, particularly regarding travel.
-The relevant risk and concerns vary widely depending location. Presently we expect that gatherings in Orange County will still go on.
-We are taking all necessary health precautions on campus to limit exposure to sickness of any kind.
 
Our first priority is caring for those to whom we have dedicated our ministry. We will continue to comfort and encourage students, faculty, and family members who feel anxious or reconsidering matters of faith in new ways. As we continue to respond locally, please join me also in praying for those who are directly affected by the virus, both in the United States and abroad.
